About Us
At an age when most kids were learning to ride a bike, Marc Brown was working in his father's machine shop. On weekends he helped his father race an NHRA Pro Stock drag racing car. By the time Marc was a teenager he was building complete racing engines. Many of his father's customers had no idea that young Marc was part of the secret to their racing success. The idea of a 13-year-old working on their expensive engine might not set well with some of the more seasoned racers, but the results proved what his father already knew. Marc had a natural talent for building winning engines.
By the age of 16, the word was out and Marc had earned the respect of many racers. Respect not only for his engine building skills, but also for his ability to tune the engines for maximum performance. In the shop, on the phone or at the track, Marc could be counted on to help get the maximum power out of his engines.
At the age of 18, Marc started racing a dirt late model. Using the knowledge learned as a driver, Marc developed a talent for matching engine combinations for drivability with different types of racecars. Camshaft and cylinder head combinations which matched a customers driving style became a specialty of Marc's that is hard to beat. Marc uses information from his customers, as well as his own participation in many different types of motorsports including boat racing, drag racing, circle track, truck and tractor pulling and high performance street engines. Information from this diverse racing database helps Marc develop the powerful combinations he is so well known for.
Becoming successful in so many types of motorsports proves Marc has mastered the ability to get power from any engine - Ford, Chevy or Chrysler. To Marc, it makes no difference what product line an engine belongs to. If it runs on race fuel, Marc can build you a winning combination.
Marc learned early on that success in racing only came with dedication and commitment to the sport. He uses that same philosophy today when assembling every engine he sells. Marc personally dyno tunes his engines to ensure each one develops maximum power without compromising reliability.
